After honoring Shea and presenting her with her own jersey and donation at our Free Exhibition Game this past weekend, it was great to catch up with some of the Board Members of Caring And Sharing For Kids, Inc. last night and present them with a personalized jersey and donation for their help in partnering with us this past summer in The Basketball Tournament!
These are some great people doing some great things for families of local children who are ill, injured, and disabled and they definitely deserve the recognition and support!
If you or someone you know would like to support Caring And Sharing For Kids, please stop out at one of their upcoming fundraisers that allows them to support these families in need:
Caring And Sharing For Kids Fall Bingo – Sunday, October 1st at 2pm at the Rockton Fire Hall ($10 for 20 regular games – plays 3 cards)
Caring And Sharing For Kids Yard Sale – October 12th (9am-5pm), 13th (9am-5pm), & 14th (9am-12pm) at the Brady Township Community Center in Luthersburg, PA!
*All proceeds from both events go to help local ill children and their families in need!
Thank you Caring And Sharing For Kids for all that you do for the community and for partnering with us it has been an honor!

It was an honor meeting up with Sherry Martini and her daughter, Ali, yesterday at the future site of the DuBois Challenger League Field at the DuBois City Park to present them with our donation and personalized jersey for partnering with us in this past summer’s The Basketball Tournament!
Sherry and her Challenger League Group are doing some outstanding things for our area and more importantly for those with special needs and disabilities to have the ability to play in a very well run League and now play on a handicap accessible field! Congratulations on making such great strides in such a short amount of time and we are looking forward to hopefully partnering up more in the near future!
The Challenger Division of Little League accommodates participants with physical and intellectual disabilities ages 5-18 or until age 22 if the player is still in school. This division is not competitive but focuses on having fun while gaining skills and interacting as a team. Players bat from a tee or coach pitch. “Buddies” are utilized to assist players as needed.

We had two tough opening games against some very good opponents this past weekend in New York. Although we did not get the results we wanted, this Dream is more than just about wins and losses.
We did have a great time at DCC Basketball Little Dribblers on Saturday before our first game and it was great getting to see our players (especially our big man Julius Elizabeth Francis) interact with the kids. Thank you for having us DuBois Central Catholic School
We would like to thank all our fans for their prayers and support in helping us get home safely from the Lake Effect Snow this weekend. After having less than a week to practice as a team before our first game we are looking forward to getting together and practicing this week to prepare even more for our games in New York this coming weekend.
Please continue to follow our Premier Basketball League games live as they will be streamed online for any fans interested in watching the games from their TV, Laptops, or Mobile Devices.
We will continue to get better and #DreamBig for you DuBois!
